Il Film Horror indipendente The Pyramid trova una distribuzione negli USA - SplatterContainer

Il film horror antologico italiano The Pyramid (diretto da Alex Visani, Roberto Albanesi, Simone Chiesa, Luca Alessandro e Antonio Zannone) è stato acquistato da Bayview Entertainement, che lo distribuirà in America e Canada nel 2014 in DVD e Blu-ray. Il film uscirà quest'anno anche in Giappone, nelle sale e successivamente per il mercato home video distribuito da Zazie Films.

Ennesima soddisfazione per noi sostenitori dell'indie italiano.

A new Italian horror movie is coming up on the independent scene: THE PYRAMID

Written by Alex Visani and Raffaele Ottolenghi and produced by Visani himself, the movie is an anthological horror divided into four episodes strictly connected to an infernal object: a bizarre pyramid that came into our world to spread madness, death and destruction.  Along the centuries the pyramid was the focus of terrible happenings and we found it again nowadays left on the desk of a fair abandoned like an useless toy.

Found by chance by an unfortunate guy; the pyramid opens the door to a series of terrible and unstoppable events.

Unanimated objects coming to life, demonic possessions, monstrous creatures, portals, pestilence and catastrophic events: that’s what you’ll find in THE PYRAMID.

The ambitious project is born from the collaboration of five young independent Italian directors: Alex Visani, Antonio Zannone, Luca Alessandro and the duo Roberto Albanesi & Simone Chiesa.

Each one of them will give birth to an episode of terror generated by the pyramid.

THE PYRAMID gather the strength and passion of this group of artists and represent the Italian independent scene in fact each one of the segments will be filmed in different parts of Italy to prove that horror is alive and kicking and take its wrath along all the country.

After four months of pre-production the filming officially started last March 7^th. The movie will be filmed both in English and Italian to be able to involve both the Italian and the international market.

La scena horror indipendente italiana si arricchisce di un nuovo titolo in arrivo : THE PYRAMID

Prodotto da Alex Visani, da un soggetto dello stesso Visani e di Raffaele Ottolenghi, il lungometraggio si presenta come un horror antologico in cui quattro storie saranno strettamente collegate da un oggetto infernale, il cui aspetto è quello di una bizzarra piramide di metallo, giunto nel nostro mondo per seminare follia, morte e distruzione. La piramide nel corso dei secoli è stata presente in tutte le più oscure e terribili fasi della storia umana e la ritroviamo ai giorni nostri, apparentemente innocua ed abbandonata, in una bancarella di una fiera di paese. Lo sventurato ragazzo che se ne approprierà darà involontariamente il via ad una catena di eventi terrificanti, apparentemente inarrestabile.
Oggetti che vivono di vita propria, possessioni demoniache, creature mostruose, varchi dimensionali, pestilenze e catastrofi…questo e molto altro ancora si vedrà nel film THE PYRAMID.


L’ambizioso progetto prevede la stretta collaborazione di alcuni registi emergenti del panorama nostrano horror : Antonio Zannone, Luca Alessandro ed il duo Roberto Albanesi & Simone Chiesa.
Ognuno di loro, assieme allo stesso Visani, curerà un episodio della catena di terrificanti eventi che la piramide infernale genererà.


THE PYRAMID oltre ad unire le forze e la passione di un gruppo eterogeneo di artisti, unisce a suo modo anche l’onda italiana indipendente poiché i vari segmenti avranno location in diverse regioni d’Italia : Umbria, Lazio, Lombardia e Campania a dimostrazione che l’horror è più vivo che mai e “serpeggia” indomito lungo tutto il nostro paese.
Le riprese ufficiali del film, dopo una gestazione di almeno 4 mesi, sono iniziate lo scorso 7 Marzo ed il film è girato in doppia lingua, in italiano ed inglese, in modo da poter abbracciare sia il mercato nazionale che quello internazionale.
